Men’s Ministry - Initiatives
It is the intention of the Men’s Ministry of the North Bronx SDA Church to institute an active program for the spiritual growth and well being of the men in the Church. The Men’s Ministry department will be focused and vigilant in pursuing the cause of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. To this end the department will focus on four areas of particular interest: Spiritual Growth, Health, Education, and Financial Security. While we will not preclude suggestions and other initiatives, these four areas of interest are deemed to be of vital importance in fulfilling the goal of the Men’s Ministry.

Men’s Retreat
Men's Prayer Conference will be held at Tilden High School (5800 Tilden Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11203) on May 21, 2005, from 9:30 a.m - 6 p.m. This is a One Day Men's Convention for men & their sons (in place of the Men's Weekend Conference).

Department's Initiatives

The Men's Ministry conducts a monthly Men's Meeting on the second Sabbath of each month. The next meeting will be on Sabbath, May 14, 2005, following the Divine Service. All men are asked to give their full support.

The Men's Ministry's weekly exercise program resumes this Sunday at the Mount Vernon High School starting at 8 a.m. All are invited.

Department's Mission
The men’s ministry department fills an important role in the church, in that he works to encourage, lead, and nurture men who serve as brothers, husbands, fathers, and ministry leaders. The department is responsible for organizing, planning, and directing programs that will meet the unique spiritual and emotional needs of the men of the church.
